Last week, Virginia made history with their vote to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment–first written almost 100 years ago–and finally make women constitutionally equal.
This long struggle included some of the greatest activists and feminists this country has ever seen and, unsurprisingly, many of them are Jewish.
