Is Abortion Access a Jewish Value?

Last Wednesday, I participated in a Lilith Magazine panel of badass activists, called “Lilith Fights Back,” on how we, as Jewish women, are protecting abortion access. It was magical.

The last few months have been unbelievably trying and getting to sit in this space and center our Jewish values and commitment to reproductive justice filled my heart.

Watch the recording.

In the lead-up to the event, another speaker, the awesome Justine Orlovsky-Schnitzler, and I sat down to discuss our thoughts on the current climate around abortion. We spoke for nearly an hour about how white allies can de-center themselves, the South not being a lost cause, and why offering to take people “camping” as a euphemism is dangerous.

Read part one, “Is Abortion Access a Jewish Value?

Read part two, “Don’t Write Off the South on Abortion.”
