I spoke on a very special international panel hosted by Pro-Choice Dresden called, “Abortion across Borders–Abortion without Borders,” on transnational abortion travel and on borderless solidarity.

I spoke alongside Silvia De Zordo from Spain who wrote the international research project “Europe Abortion Access Project” which explores why women from European countries with relatively liberal abortion laws, such as Italy or France, are forced to travel abroad to seek abortion; and Krystyna Kacpura from Poland who founded FEDERA, which has been advocating for reproductive health and rights since 1991 and provides legal support to unintentionally pregnant women in Poland. We were moderated by Sara Dutch, a filmmaker, and co-producer of the documentary “Wie wir wollen” which portrays 50 people who terminated a pregnancy in Germany.

Give it a watch! I don’t get to spend a lot of time on international abortion access so this webinar was fascinating and insightful. Give it a watch! My portion starts at minute 56.
