I’m off to the Women’s March Convention!
On August 13th, I’ll be running my first-ever workshop on op-ed writing, teaching feminists how to use our words to shape the future we want to see.
I can’t overstate how impactful learning how to write op-eds and essays has been for my feminism and activism. I process the world’s injustice through writing and boy has there been a lot to write about. I take so much pride in my pieces being digestible, practical, and actionable. And I’ve been blown away by how many people take the time to reach out to me to share that my articles are helpful and insightful. This too is activism.
And now, I get to formally share my skills with activists at the Women’s Convention.
Here’s my official workshop description:
Write the feminist future you want to see! Join Steph Black to learn how to form a thoughtful argument, support your point, and get your pieces published. By using our voices, we can take a stand against injustice. Whether you want to start a blog, write for your local newspaper, or be accepted by a national publication, this session will give you all the tips and tricks you need to make it happen.
Stay tuned for my round-up of the convention and my workshop!
