2021 Practical Support Summit

This weekend, I wrapped up one of the best conferences I’ve attended. The 2021 Practical Support Summit was so impactful, and we covered topics from centering women of color, supporting frontline volunteers, the intersection of practical support and climate disaster, working with youth, and more.

Practical support–providing abortion patients transportation, housing, and more–is a critical part of the abortion ecosystem. Without practical support, abortion access would be virtually non-existent. It was incredible to be in a community with so many other PS people.

I can’t wait to bring back everything I learned to DAPSN (DMV Abortion Practical Support Network) and the Tampa Bay Abortion Fund.
