Abortion in the Time of Corona
The coronavirus, and the actions required to protect against it, will likely erode access to abortion care—even in a place like Washington, D.C., a hub with few restrictions, an abortion support infrastructure, and providers across the region.
Today, my first piece for Rewire News piece went live–an outlet that focuses solely on the pro-choice movement and its many intersections. Needless to say, this is an institution that I have a ton of respect for and am floored to be published in. However, it feels wrong to celebrate in this critical time.
COVID, and the bungled way that this administration and other GOP morons have been handling it, poses extremely concerning barriers for patients who need abortion care at this time.
